Rolling Bean Coffee has an art direction inspired by the lifestyles of ancient Indian and Egyptian kings who rode on chariots mounted on the backs of elephants when traveling on distant expeditions. This form of travel was also a symbol of wealth or high standing. Rolling Bean Coffee needed their promotional material to reflect the quality of their ingredients and having a hand-drawn coffee bean in a chariot led by and elephant similar to those ancient royal figures demonstrated that quality perfectly; in a clever, humorous and captivating way.

The brand was designed with warm earth tone colors; combining hand drawn typography, a stylish “RB” monogram logo with an elegant and minimal aesthetic. Lastly, a pattern formed by the Rolling Bean Coffee monogram was applied in different background areas of the packaging and promotional material to work as a recognizable and differentiating element of the brand.
